Bottles, Cans & Plastic Bottle Container (No fee)

ONLY:

• glass bottles of any color,
• cans of steel or aluminum,
• clean aluminum foil,
• #1 & #2 plastic bottles (check number on bottom)
• aseptic containers (e.g., waxed milk cartons)

are accepted at this container.
All of the above should be rinsed clean before disposal.

Betty Pierson Recycling Building (No fee)

This area provides a drop off location for reusable items that residents would like to offer to their neighbors. Wooden furniture, household items, bicycles, etc., in good condition, may be left here. Residents may take items for their personal use.

Waste Oil Container (No fee)

• Used Motor Oil

• Power Steering Fluid

Batteries (No fee)
See attendant on duty

Nickel-cadmium & automotive batteries, any size, accepted at this location. Alkaline batteries go to Household Garbage.

Antifreeze (No fee)
See attendant on duty

Only clean antifreeze (not mixed with motor oil) is accepted at his location.

Paint (No fee)
(April 1 to October 1 only)

• No gasoline or gasoline mixed with oil
• No wood preservatives
• No solvents, thinners or turpentine
• No propane cylinders
• No PCB-ballast light fixtures
• No oil-based paint or stain .

Tires
Fee: $3.00 per tire, no rims. $5.00 per tire with rims.

No building material over 4' in length will be accepted.

Brush Disposal Area

Fees:

Small trailers, vans, pick-ups $5.00 per load.
Trucks, trailers, less than 3 cu. yds $20,00 per load.
Trucks, 3 to 6 cu. yds $30.00 per load.
Trucks, 6 to 15 cu. yds $60.00 per load.
Only brush less than 3" in diameter accepted.

Fee: $15.00 per cu. yd
Only logs less than 12" diameter accepted at this location. No stumps are accepted.

Leaf Composting Area (No fee)

Open April, May, September & November Only.
No Fee, see attendant on duty.

Leaves ONLY accepted at this location – not to include plastic bags, wood, logs, shrubs or brush.

No grass clippings.
