Resident Trooper Paul Lussier congratulates April Pawlow, who is headed to the State Police Training Academy as the first Essex police woman ever. Ms. Pawlow was chosen from a field of fifty applicants. She was extensively tested with two oral and written and physical exams. Her training will consist of twenty weeks at the Academy followed by ten weeks of field training in Essex.
