Municipal
Agent
The
purpose of the Municipal Agent is to provide seniors, and those
who wish to help them, with information on available programs and
resources, and to guide them to the Community State and Federal
agencies that provide the assistance they need.
The Selectman's Office at Town
Hall has available the information needed to apply for Federal and
State benefits, such as winter heating assistance, food assistance,
financial assistance, housing, Conn-Pace, and Medicare Supplemental
Options. Additionally, information regarding social security, legal
services, exercise and nutrition, transportation, senior clubs,
adult daycare, home healthcare, education, employment and volunteer
opportunities can be obtained from this office.

No child should be without health care. Health Care for UninSured
Kids and Youth (HUSKY) makes medical care affordable for
Connecticuts children. The HUSKY program provides free or
low-cost coverage for children under age 19. HUSKY covers doctor
visits, glasses, dental care, emergency care, mental health services,
